Sandy has placed his bold, black sharpie signature directly below his number 32 on the front of this Dodgers home flannel jersey manufactured by Mitchell and Ness. The jersey remains in its unused, perfect condition, having been properly stored since it was obtained by its original  owner. The autograph is also free of bleeding, a common problem with signed jerseys. In our opinion, the home version (not the road) is the only way to collect this colorful Koufax jersey..

Known as "The Left Hand of God", he was born in 1935 and elected to the Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 1972, but not before compiling 4 no-hitters, in fact one that was perfect, and 3 Cy Young awards in four years. He also chalked up the 1963 N.L. MVP, a rare feat for a pitcher. His six year run in strikeouts, innings pitched and ERA may never be repeated. 

Koufax was a reluctant autograph signer, generally doing only 1 or 2 sessions a year on baseballs and photos. He seldom signed bats or jerseys. Accordingly, locating a jersey in nice condition, free of ink bleeding, is not an easy task. This is our first and we were happy to purchase it at the appropriate market value.
