Few characters in modern popular culture have left a greater imprint than Darth Vader. Introduced in 1977 and developed across nearly five decades of films, television series, novels, and comics, Vader remains the defining figure of the Star Wars universe. Offered here is a remarkable an original Star Wars: Vader Down #1 Sketch Edition Marvel Comic Book, highlighted by an authenticated Hayden Christensen signature and the inscription, "Someday I will be the most powerful Jedi ever," accompanied by an original hand-drawn Darth Vader cover sketch and authenticated signature from artist Rob Reep.

Hayden Christensen's portrayal of Anakin Skywalker transformed one of cinema's most iconic villains from a mysterious enforcer into a tragic and complex character whose fall and redemption became the emotional centerpiece of the Star Wars saga. Following his celebrated return to the franchise in recent years, demand for Christensen-signed memorabilia has accelerated dramatically, while authentic examples remain increasingly difficult to secure.

Rather than appearing on a traditional published cover, Christensen's autograph and rare inscription have been placed directly beneath an original Darth Vader sketch rendered by Rob Reep on Marvel's scarce sketch edition format. Published in 2016, Star Wars: Vader Down #1 launched one of Marvel's most successful modern Star Wars crossover storylines. Written by Jason Aaron with artwork by Mike Deodato, the issue centers on Darth Vader's battle against overwhelming Rebel forces and further cemented Vader's status as one of the most formidable figures in Star Wars canon. The blank sketch cover format offered artists a unique canvas for original artwork, making each completed example inherently unique.
