Roosevelt delivered one of the most significant speeches in American history. Speaking before  Congress, he asked for a formal declaration of war against Japan. During this pivotal moment, FDR proclaimed the now-iconic words: "Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan." The Rare 8x10 Original Photo features the "Congress Votes War" teletype caption on the reverse, as well as the "International News Photos, Hearst Bidg, Washington, D.C." Ink stamping.
