Seven Legendary Hall of Famers on Pristine 1950s official baseball.
Including flawless Rogers Hornsby and George Sisler. PSA GRADED 9

Acquired at an early Hall of Fame event, perhaps at the Cooperstown induction ceremony in 1962, this baseball is in immaculate condition for being over 70 years old. Its pure white color is completely unblemished, with no imperfections, and all Spalding manufacturer's print remains sharp in deep black ink. Simply put, it's in perfect Mint condition, and graded Mint 9 by the folks at PSA/DNA. Just as impressive, each autograph, in dark blue ink, is flawless and pristine. The autographs are graded Mint 9 as well.

Rogers Hornsby (d. 1963), a seven-time batting champion with a .358 career average and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1942, has signed his own panel which makes a great display by itself. The sweet spot is held by Bill McKechnie (d. 1965; 1962 inductee), while Casey Stengel (d. 1975) and Stan Musial share another panel. Warren Spahn and legendary 1919 Cincinnati Reds outfielder Edd Roush have signed together on a separate panel. The legendary George Sisler (d. 1973), one of the original inductees at the Hall of Fame's 1939 opening, is also honored with his own panel. Sisler, who boasted a remarkable career batting average of .340, twice hit over .400, including an astounding .420 in 1922.

Locating a baseball signed by Hornsby alone is quite a challenge, and this particular one is a real gem. In fact, securing the autograph of any early Hall of Famer who passed away before the 1980s can be difficult. Back then, there were no baseball card conventions or organized signings. Collectors had to seize opportunities at spontaneous or unexpected moments. For dedicated fans, getting an autograph often required significant effort and patience. Starting in the late 1950s and early 1960s, some fans began traveling to Cooperstown for the annual player inductions. Given that this baseball bears markings consistent with those manufactured by Spalding during that era, and considering that McKechnie signed the prized sweet spot, we believe it originated from that 1962 induction ceremony. Regardless, it’s truly a beautiful piece.

If you're putting together a high-grade, special collection of Hall of Famer autographs on a baseball, this is the ideal opportunity. Plus, it's priced very reasonably—at a fraction of what you would pay for each of these legends on a single signed baseball. Hornsby or Sisler singles of this grade on this type of ball could easily sell for $10,000 at auction, while even a single from Stengel or Mc Kechnie himself would sell for $5,000. Good, solid value.

Comes with the graded Letter of Authenticity from PSA.
