Offered here is a truly rare and historic Tony Lazzeri signed photograph dating to the 1936 New York Yankees championship season. Measuring approximately 3" x 4.5", the image features Lazzeri in his iconic pinstripe uniform, posed in front of the Yankees dugout at Yankee Stadium.

Signed in black fountain pen, Lazzeri’s autograph is crisp, and classic—an outstanding period example. Autographs from Lazzeri are scarce in any format, and signed photos from his playing days are especially difficult to find (virtually impossible). Most known examples are personalized; this clean, unpersonalized piece stands out as one of the finest we’ve encountered.

There is a faint crease visible only under close inspection, mentioned for accuracy, though it does little to distract from the overall eye appeal and vintage character of the piece.
