A genius innovator whose brilliance is still relevant today, Thomas Edison is one of our favorite subjects in the entire hobby. Offered here is a gorgeous photo signed by the great inventor, headlined by a flawless, full-name signature! More often than not, Edison would sign an abbreviated version of his name, “Thos. Edison”. Here we are lucky enough to get the expertly scripted long version of his signature, and of course, the iconic “umbrella” style autograph with the arch over the top immediately stands out! The black and white photo, measuring approximately 5” x 7”, features Edison in his laboratory library.
Thomas Edison signed photos are scarce, especially those with no personalizations or additional unwanted writing. Perhaps most important is the condition of the signature itself. Presented in black fountain ink, the bold signature has been graded Mint 9 by PSA/DNA!
