A rare, one-of-a-kind crossover collectible that unites two of New York’s most iconic sports legends.

This Everlast boxing glove was personally signed and inscribed by the Raging Bull, Jake LaMotta. Also referred to as the Bronx Bull, LaMotta personally gifted this glove to New York Yankee legend and Hall of Fame pitcher Whitey Ford. He kindly enned a personal message, “My pal Whitey”, and added “Raging Bull” and “HOF – 90” - marking his status as an inaugural inductee into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

LaMotta is considered one of the greatest boxers of all-time, and of course, was played by Robert Deniro in Martin Scorcese's Oscar nominated biographical film, Raging Bull. Deniro won the Oscar for Best Actor for his portrayal of LaMotta!

Whitey Ford is the greatest starting pitcher in Yankee history, and made his Major League debut in 1950 - the same year LaMotta reigned as World Middleweight Champion. Both men, native New Yorkers, rose to stardom in their respective arenas, and this piece beautifully captures that golden era of Bronx pride and sports excellence...
