Ted Williams Signed 1980s Boston Red Sox Bobblehead. Fully Original. JSA

Certainly the first one of these we have seen and most likely a one-of-a-kind, this offering is a Red Sox collector's dream. It  features a fully original and nicely preserved 1970s/1980s Boston Red Sox bobblehead, standing an uncommon 8 inches tall—a remarkable size for an earlier bobber. In outstanding condition, it boasts no chipping, scuffing, cracking, or missing paint. Even the iconic "B" decal is entirely intact, free of any wear. The spring mechanism is fully functional and remains "unstretched," a rarity for such delicate vintage collectibles. 

Signed boldly by Hall of Famer Ted Williams, In fact, he even added his uniform number 9 on the reverse. What makes this piece truly exceptional is the large autograph of Hall of Famer as well as his that uniform number 9 inscribed on the reverse. It was rare for collectors to have the legends sign their bobbleheads, as it’s not an easy feat. However, this signature is flawlessly executed by the legendary Splendid Splinter. While such items are exceedingly uncommon, we’ve seen a few—one being a signed Mantle bobblehead—which commanded an exceptionally high price.
