Unique Ted Williams 10x Signed Bat, Ten Autographs Inscribed to Mike Piazza. JSA
One of a Kind Ted Williams Signed Baseball Bat with 10x Autographs and Personal Inscription to Fellow Hall of Famer Mike Piazza – 1 of 1!
When you think of the greatest hitters in Major League Baseball history, Ted Williams is always near the top, if not at the very pinnacle. His numbers at the plate are staggering, and he approached the batter’s box with a grace and precision that turned hitting into a true science.
With that mastery, Williams had an unmatched eye for talent and could recognize a rising star the moment he saw one.
In 1984, while in Pennsylvania for a card show, Williams made a rare stop at a local family’s home to watch a promising high school baseball player. There, a 16-year-old stepped into the backyard batting cage as Williams observed intently. Amazed by the teenager’s natural ability and swing mechanics at such a young age, The Splendid Splinter offered guidance, encouragement, and insights — a defining moment that would leave a lasting impression on a future Hall of Famer. That young player? None other than Mike Piazza!
Ted Williams Meets 16 Year Old Mike Piazza
In that vein, we are proud to offer one of the most unique items we’ve ever had in our collection — a genuine Louisville Slugger Ted Williams Pro Model Bat, signed by Williams an astounding 10 times and inscribed to Mike Piazza. Williams provided four signatures on the handle and six more on the barrel, all in bold blue ink that contrasts beautifully against the blonde wood.
The only thing better than a Ted Williams autograph?
10x Ted Williams autographs on a single item!
What makes this multi-signed bat even more special is the inscription to Piazza: “To Mike Piazza, a 500 Home Run Hitter.” While we cannot confirm exactly when Williams signed and inscribed the bat — whether on that unforgettable day in 1984 when they first met or later during Piazza’s Hall of Fame career — the connection is undeniable.
Due to the rigorous demands of being a catcher, Piazza didn’t quite reach 500 home runs, finishing his career with 427 round-trippers — the most all-time for a catcher. One thing is certain: Williams was deeply impressed by Piazza as a 16-year-old, and his admiration for the slugging catcher clearly endured throughout his career.
A Ted Williams signed bat with 10 autographs is unquestionably a rare and remarkable piece. Coupled with the personal inscription to Mike Piazza, this bat stands as a truly one-of-a-kind collectible — a must-have for serious baseball fans and autograph collectors alike.
