Headlined by Lincoln’s iconic signature, this official military document is adorned by gorgeous Naval vignettes and a bright green seal that remains perfectly intact.
The document, with Lincoln's signature, appoints Cramer Burt as Paymaster in the Navy from the 1st of June, 1861. Signed at the conclusion in ink by President Abraham Lincoln and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy Gideon Welles.
