Vintage Lefty Gomez autograph on an original photograph dated to 1936. Signed in fountain ink, this is a period signature from his playing days. Nearly every Gomez signature on the market is from the 1980s when he attended shows and did mass public signings. This, however, is signed as a player during his prime and winning World Series' with Gehrig and DiMaggio. When buying common signatures like Gomez, it's always best to find something unique and vintage like this versus the stacks of 8x10s he signed for promoters in the 1980s.
