John F. Kennedy White House Letter
Offered here is an elegant typed letter signed “John Kennedy” as President, dated September 8, 1963, on official White House letterhead. Addressed to Claude Pepper, Kennedy originally typed “Congressman” in the salutation but personally crossed it out and replaced it with the more familiar “Claude,” adding a warm, personal touch rarely seen in formal presidential correspondence.
In the letter measuring 6.75" x 8.75", Kennedy extends birthday wishes:
“Please accept my warmest congratulations on your birthday. I hope that this will be a happy and memorable occasion and that the years to come will bring you continued health and happiness.”
The letter remains in fine condition. Includes the original White House envelope, hand-marked “By Messenger and By Hand.”
Authenticated with a Full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services — an exceptional JFK presidential piece with direct ties to a prominent statesman.
Ships FedEx with Insurance and Signature.
