Gorgeous Babe Ruth card with strong color, outstanding centering, and a clean surface on the front and back. No creasing.

This is one of the first cards issued featuring Babe Ruth on the Yankees. He was famously sold to the Yankees from Boston for $100K on Dec. 25, 1919. This card was issued just after his first season in New York. Strip cards from this era are extremely tough to find cut properly, as most were crudely ripped and cut by children. The eye appeal is outstanding well beyond what you'd expect for a "2" good grade. The color pops, and the surface retains its original luster which commonly fades over time.
