Ali vs. Frazier!
This unique Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier dual signed oversized photograph captures the iconic image of Ali taunting Frazier at his Philadelphia training headquarters. Ali, a master of promotion, showed up with a slew of media to capture the intense moment ahead of their historic 1971 world heavyweight championship fight, dubbed as "The Fight of the Century".
This iconic photo known as "Perspectives" was released by legendary photographer, George Kalinsky. Limited Edition of 250. Oversized and measuring 22"x25".
"The Fight of the Century"
The fight took place on March 8, 1971 in Madison Square Garden. Coming into the fight, both fighters held undefeated records. Ali as 31–0 and Frazier at 26–0. This fight was highly promoted and held big stakes for each boxer as well as the culture of America. Ali was the symbol for anti-establishment and was stripped of his championship title for refusing to join the Vietnam draft. Ultimately, Ali would take his first loss to Frazier by unanimous decision. The two men would face off an additional two times.
Signed by both fighters and the photographed, this rare piece of sports history is certified authentic by PSA.
