Along with Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb was the greatest player of his day, and a deserving member of the Inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 1936. Offered here is a classic Ty Cobb signed government postcard, grade Mint 9 by PSA/DNA and dated “8/5/52” in Cobb’s hand. As expected for the graded, Cobb’s signature is absolutely flawless, and presented in The Georgia Peach’s iconic green ink!
The GPC itself remains in nice condition in a vintage cream color that renders great contrast with the green ink. The reverse has also been also been penned in Cobb’s hand.
