In 1957 alone, \u003cb\u003eMickey Mantle was at the absolute\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cb\u003epeak of his powers\u003c\/b\u003e, capturing his second consecutive MVP award while batting an outstanding .365. He posted a jaw-dropping .512 on-base percentage, a .665 slugging percentage, and an incredible 1.177 OPS. Mantle also led the league with 121 runs scored and posted a staggering 11.3 WAR. Over his 16-year career, spanning more than 3,000 innings, Ford posted a stellar 2.75 ERA, anchoring the Yankees’ rotation year after year with quiet dominance and Hall of Fame consistency.
