A crystal clear image of New York Knicks legend Willis Reed, this gorgeous 8x10 Type 1 photograph shows the Hall of Fame center looking buff in full uniform! The photo, circa 1960's according to PSA, most likely hails from the late 1960's based on the style of the uniform. In 1970, just a short while after this outdoor photo-session, Reed was named the NBA's Most Valuable Player and battled through serious injuries to lead the Knicks to their first championship in franchise history.

Type 1's are extremely rare - with just a handful of each image known to exist, many times just one of a kind unique! Type I photos are a 1st generation photograph, developed from the original negative, during the period (within approximately two years of when the picture was taken).
